  • Head and Neck cancer rehabilitation
    • alaryngeal rehabilitation including esophageal speech, artificial larynx use and tracheoesophageal speech (TEP) and prosthetic management
    • post glossectomy speech and swallowing rehabilitation
    • oral and maxillofacial rehabilitation including trismus treatment with Therabite Trismus device
  • Swallowing disorders (dysphagia) including flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing and sensation (FEES & FEESST) and modified barium swallow (MBS).
  • Tracheotomy tube management including the Passy-Muir speaking valve
  • Voice disorders including videostrobolaryngoscopy of laryngeal behavior, acoustic & physiological evaluation.

  • Neurogenic communication disorders including aphasia, right hemisphere, and motor speech disorders resulting from Parkinson’s, ALS and MS
  • Intensive Care Units: endoscopy for swallowing & communication
  • Dementia and other cognitive disorders.

  • Tracheostomy tubes, Passy-Muir speaking valve, and ventilators

  • Voice disorders including instrumental examination utilizing acoustic, physiological and aerodynamic measures as well videostrobolaryngoscopy of laryngeal behavior.
