- Swallowing disorders (dysphagia) including bedside exam, flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing and sensation (FEES & FEESST) and modified barium swallow (MBS).
- Neurogenic communication disorders including aphasia, right hemisphere, and motor speech such as Parkinson’s, ALS and MS
- Intensive Care Units: endoscopy for swallowing & communication
- Dementia and other cognitive disorders.
- Spinal cord injury providing swallowing and communication eval/tx
- Tracheostomy tubes, Passy-Muir speaking valve, and ventilators
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) eval/tx
- Voice disorders including instrumental examination utilizing acoustic, physiological and aerodynamic measures as well videostrobo-laryngoscopy of laryngeal behavior.
- Head and Neck cancer rehabilitation providing alaryngeal rehabilitation including esophageal speech, artificial larynx use and tracheoesophageal speech (TEP) and prosthetic management and post glossectomy speech and swallowing rehabilitation.
